The filter is well built and hopefully flows as good as they say. I would rate is 5 stars, but AirX makes their filters extra small in diameter. All filters end up smaller than their advertised size, but AirX is about 3/16 smaller than other brands and won't hold itself in place in ceiling return vents.

The only complaint is they should measure slightly bigger. It is a 20x20x1. Not 19.5x19.5x3/4. A little less expensive would be nice.

For my expensive unit I only use the best filters possible, thats why I use Air Beast from discountfilters.com. My unit uses two filters, one in the door and one in the inside of the unit. I put the Air Beast in the inside of the unit and change it every three months, I then buy the most cheaper one in a retail store and put it on the door and change it every 30 days. Happy customer for over a year.
