Have just recently become aware of the fact that, like lumber (think 2x4’s) the dimensions of A/C filters are not the “listed” dimensions. Like with limber where a 2x4 is not 2”x4”, filters are also smaller. The actual dimensions in some cases are in very fine print on the filter itself. All that said, the filters that I bought from Discount Filters are the closest to the listed dimensions I’ve been able to find. They are 1/4” in all dimensions shorter than the listed size. I purchased and returned filters from another online seller (Filter Buy) that were 5/8” less than the listed filter size. Another brand that I bought from a major supply house were 1/2” short of listed dimensions. Price and service from Discount Filters was excellent. Glad to have discovered you. Will be buying again.
