It's hard to tell about these filters because there's still quite a bit of dust landing around the house when the furnace is running on unheated, circulating air. I added some filter material to the furnace vents themselves so maybe the combination will help with the house dust issue.

I have been using these for quite a few years --- I use my central AC for approximately for 4 months a year and I use 2 filters in that time frame (2months 1 Filter) very efficient a good product.
