Does a decent job; I need to replace more often than stated guidelines. I don't know if this is normal, as I switched to these last year from permanent washable type, but pleats are not uniformly spread out; some too wide and some scrunched up together.

When my new Carrier heat pump was installed last year, it had a fiber filter that must be washed to clean. I found the type filter I had used in my previous heat pump, these type filters are excellent in preventing dust entering the system. My new heat pump filter is a rather odd size, I am so glad I found the exact size i needed at Discount Filters.

Terrific filters. Second time ordering. These are well made, and even when they are supposed to be changed they look really good, I am allergic and they stop, dust, mold, mildew, and are great for taking out pollen. This past spring I could hardly breathe when the pollen flew but none came through the vents the filters stopped them! I highly recommend these and they are far less money than the brand new ones.
