Overall a good filter for the cost. When I would use two 1 inch 3M filters the air seemed noticeably cleaner. I can tell by the dust trapped at the second filter level with the 3M filters as compared to the 2 inch filter as described above. But for the cost, I can just swap these filters more often. That said, I wish there were more pleats (more filtration material) in the 2 inch filter so that more dust and dander could be trapped. Two 1 inch 3M filters definitely catch more dust and offer better filtration. Air flow may be slightly reduced but then again, less dust gets circulated back into the home.
