The filter cartridge replacement is well-made and easy to install/exchange with my Bosch refrigerator’s previous filter. My original order was lost by the post office, however, Discount Filters was happy to send me a replacement pack.

Our refrigerator filters are much less $$ than ordering directly from Bosh and are the same ones We also get our AC filters from them.... our size filters aren’t found in Home Depot or Lowe’s so we were lucky we found them at Discount Filters.

Worked as advertised. Watched a short "how to" on YouTube for my particular refrigerator (Thermador) for some DIY confidence and it all went pretty smoothly. Got the old one out with some elbow grease and then the new one slid in and got seated.

How to install

How To Install The 644845 Filter:

  1. Twist the old filter a half-turn counterclockwise
  2. Pull the filter straight out
  3. Remove the reusable knob/cap from the end of the old filter
  4. Discard the old filter
  5. Snap the knob/cap onto the end of the new filter
  6. Push the new filter into the fridge with the knob in the horizontal position until it stops
  7. Twist the filter a half-turn clockwise
  8. Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one)
  9. Change your filter every 6 months
