The aftermarket WFCB-EFF is used in refrigerators by Frigidaire, Kenmore and others.  It is designed to replace the the Frigidaire WF1CB / WFCB / RC200 style filter.  Fits in threaded "filter cup" found in many Frigidaire and Kenmore appliances.  The WFCB-EFF filter creates better tasting water for drinking and making beverages as well as clean, clearer, healthy ice.

How to install

How To Install The WFCB Filter:

  1. Unscrew filter cup by turning gently counterclockwise. Emtpy water in cup
  2. Pull the old filter straight down and discard
  3. Place the new filter in the filter cup - with side with O-rings facing up
  4. Push filter/filter cup assemby into filter head
  5. Twist assembly clockwise to tighten into housing
  6. Run water from the dispenser for 3 minutes (about 1-1/2 gallons) to clear the system and prevent sputtering
  7. Press and hold reset water filter button if your fridge has one
  8. Replace filter every 6 months
