This filter is shipped like a collapsed accordion, and is expanded into your existing plastic frame before being installed in your air cleaner. This filter offers a MERV 11 efficiency rating and captures small particulates to promote excellent IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) in your home.

It's difficult to tell when one filter is better than the other, but the air in my house seems to be clean. Plus, I think it helps in allergy seasons. Of course, one cannot avoid going outdoors in allergy season, but when indoors, I think your filters help to remove the allergens.

I don’t know why you put glue on ends of filters. When you feed it through the insides it needs to be open so they lay flat. Mine is an old unit and has about 45 slats to feed it through. So I just took knife and won’t through it. Got a little torn but did the trick!

Not too sure about the quality of the filter. We keep our home very clean and don't have any pets. So even after 6 months the filter looks fairly new. So I cannot comment on the effectiveness or quality of the product. My only complaint is the packaging could be a little better. When I received my second order, the package was a little out of shape so is the filters. Hope the filters will function properly.

These used to come individually packaged but now they come in one big box. This makes it harder to store the one for later use. I also noticed a tear in the filter but I may have done that myself. This type filter has always been a pain to change but it is less often than a conventional filter. If you’re gonna use an accordion type filter this is probably the best deal out there.

I've used this product as a replacement for the Aprilaire branded version for several years. It has minor defects which make it very slightly more difficult to install, but which don't seem to affect performance. For the price difference, it is definitely worth small tradeoffs.

These filters are great. Only negative is in the packaging. The box came open on one end and the filters (2) came just put in a cardboard box, no plastic wrapping which would protect them if the box was opened / damaged. Luckily they were not damaged. Please rethink your packaging.
