First tried these during the pandemic. They offered the highest level of filtration to get pollutants out of the air. Since we have household members who have respiratory problems, it gave us some peace of mind knowing we were using a high quality product. The higher the MERV #, the better it is at capturing the junk in the air. Their website provides very good info on what you are getting. A little more expensive, but we feel our health is worth it.

The filters were not marked MERV 13 and look exactly like the MERV 11 filters i received last year, which also were not marked on the filter. Only the the shipping box was marked MERV 13. What did i receive?

Had a crudely made setup for a bag filter which worked, but had to take apart the sheet metal to change it. Had to remove the seal tape and re-install the seal tape each time. The filter we purchased installs in the filter holder as it was designed and should work as good or better. I had to call Discount Filters to verify I was purchasing the correct product which they confirmed it was. Generic markings without the logos and such. Otherwise it works. Will be checking in 3 months and 6 months, at the 3 month interval will check to see if we need to change it or wait til the 6 months to change.

The product itself was fine, but it arrived damaged. I spent a little time putting it back into its original form, and was able to get a decent fit/seal in my furnace. Therefore I did not return it. However, it is annoying to get a damaged product, though not the fault of the seller (probably).

The replacement air filter M-13 is a fine product. Please add two tab grabbers on one side of the filter to remove it from the ducting while the AC system is operating in order to change the filter. My suggestion.

Specified 5” and didn’t fit cabinet rails tight! Other smoke and particular filter has foam strips applied to filter sides! Supposedly Honeywell was to fit Trane furnace.

Service and prices are great. The actual filter performance is hard to tell. They can't get all dust, or we wouldn't have to dust the house periodically. Is there more or less dust? How do we measure that? We hope it is doing the job. Since the prices are so good, we felt it was worth getting the highest performing filters. At least that is the manufacturer's claim. I would expect Discount Filters to be honest and source a reputable manufacturer.
