These filters are a bit more economical than the Ultravation filters I used to buy. I'm sure both are MERV-11 compliant, with the Ultra being over the top and potentially good for a year. However, my HVAC guy said to save money with these and change them every 6 months "religiously." The more expensive ones should not exceed 6 months installed, either. So these make sense.
