The ClearChoice carbon block "cyst" cartridge offers sub-micron particle filtration. The specialized carbon block media can reduce unwanted tastes and odors - and can reduce cysts such as cryptosporidium and giardia by mechanical means. These filters are an ideal choice for point-of-use (POU) and reverse osmosis drinking water applications. These filters are great for displacing traditional GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) and PAC (Powder Activated Carbon) filters in applications where high chlorine reduction is needed.
